Webinar 1: Two Paths for Two Sisters
When: Thursday, December 10th, 6-7 pm
Presentation Topic: Two sisters, who are both Deaf, have taken two different paths to discovering and enjoying success as adults. Often, when a child is diagnosed with hearing loss, their parents wonder about their future and the possibilities that it may hold for them.
Attend this FREE webinar and explore the possibilities!
Along with personal life experiences, Taryn’s experiences in mainstream programs for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HH) and Kiley’s experiences at a school for the Deaf demonstrate that there are many possibilities and paths for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals to explore and find success in as they reach adulthood.
Webinar 2: What Opportunities Lie Ahead
When: Wednesday, December 16th, from 6-7 PM

John Cool and Tina Caloud, staff members of the Iowa School for the Deaf, will open this webinar by briefly sharing about the opportunities available. After that, Nicole Jergens, Austin Stage, and Kali Nipper, current D/HH High School students around Iowa, will share their thoughts and experiences with you to help you prepare for the years ahead.
