Are you interested or know someone who might be interested in participating in a Spanish Language online self-study course about deafblindness?

California Deafblind Services is offering a FREE pilot Spanish-Language Online Self-study course for Families of Children who are DeafBlind.

Description: The training will be utilizing three modules from Open Hands Open Access (OHOA) over the next three months (one module per month) with weekly discussion sessions (Wednesdays). Readings and assignments will be at your own time during the month and you will meet with the rest of your group to discuss the topics on Wednesdays.

August 26: Orientation session to discuss details and answer questions about OHOA

September Session: An Overview of Deaf-Blindness and Instructional Strategies

October Session: The Role of the Intervener in Educational Settings

November Session: Understanding Communication Principles

All 3 sessions will be 45 minute discussion sessions.
