We Started our journet in Kansas with us recently moving back to our howmetown in Iowa. Our hearts belong to the midwest! Ricly is a civil engineer and I am blessed to be able to stay home with my five beautiful children. Our family is busy and crazy, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Caleb is our genius, Hannah is our sunshine, Zoey is our excitement, Jacob is mischevious, and Claire is the apple of everyone's eye. Why do you volunteer for the foundation? I have spent the last 10 years learning and educating myself in order to be the best advocate for my sweet Hannah. I have chosen to volunteer my time with the hope of being support to new and existing families. this journey is one that often times starts out rather scary and unknown, but becomes the greatest joy and blessing to our lives. Having a support system is one of the first steps to finding peace among the unknown in the vast world of CHARGE Syndrome. What activites does my family like to do? First and foremost, our family loves a good dance party, swimming in heated pools or creek stomping, walking on paved trails, family movie time, grandma and grandpa's house, ice cream, road trips, board games, the kids think staying at the Ronald Mcdonald house is the best thing ever, planning family vacations around hospital trips, and last but not least, spending time together!
